Show content_for_additional_checkout_buttons all the time

Hi,

We're using the liquid variable {{ content_for_additional_checkout_buttons }} in our product and cart pages to show all dynamic checkout buttons but it seems to be empty when the store has an empty cart. It looks like it is designed to display after a product has been added to the cart. Is there a way to show all dynamic checkout buttons all the time?
