Show only thumbnails related to the selected color variant

The issue here is the following. I want when I click the black variant thumbnails show only the related images of selected color variant

Thanks for your question.

We have a tutorial that would allow you to select variants by clicking their images which will allow you to build this communication between the variant and it's corresponding image. 

This solution is built for specific Shopify themes, particularly Boundless, Express, Narrative or Brooklyn. If you are using a theme other than these, then this solution is not guaranteed to work. 

Note: 

If you use a free theme from Shopify, then you might be able to contact Shopify Support for help with this tutorial. It requires 15 minutes of design time. To learn more, refer to Support for themes.

Let me know what theme you are using, and I'd be happy to provide some further guidance.

This code doesnt work on my Theme.  My main product image change when i click one option but i want the thumbnails show only the images of my option select

Since this is a third-party theme, we are unable to provide any compatible code advice. With that being said, you can work with a Shopify Expert to implement this functionality into your store.

Focal is one of the paid themes from our Theme Store, so I don't have any compatible code advice to offer as that falls outside of the scope of our support.

With that being said, this is usually a pre-built option within premium themes. When viewing the demo for the Focal theme, I'm able to select different variants through their corresponding images which is what this thread discusses.

Have you assigned images to the variants in the backend, where you actually set-up the products? If you can provide some examples of how you have it set-up in comparison to how it appears on the front-end I may be better able to advise.
