Hello @NatureBed,

The faster your site is, the more users you are likely to convert.

The following tips will help you decrease the load on your web pages.

1. Image compression is important and a necessity for faster loading web pages. Make sure your images are of good quality and do not add too many images on a single page.
2. Reduce the HTTP requests. For example: Combine & inline your CSS scripts
3. Minimize broken links and redirects - Avoid unnecessary Redirects and fix broken links
4. Using slideshow, which are high-quality images combined with transitions, take time to load when the user clicks the link to the homepage. So instead you can use a single high-quality hero image.
5. Always choose a theme that is responsive, fast, and takes minimal time to load the page. If you choose a theme with numerous sliders, fancy animations, advanced navigation systems, etc., will affect your page speed.
6. Don't add too many images on a page
7. Use Lazyload wherever required to reduce initial load time
8. Remove all unwanted Shopify Apps which you are not using
9. Replace GIFs with static images

If your website takes longer than 3 seconds to load, 40% of your traffic will be lost. A slow-loading website can reduce your conversions and profits. Apart from making your store load fast, for getting better conversions you have to make sure your products are found on Google. Use flareAI as a tool to get the basic necessity of getting found ( indexed ) verifiably submitted to Google for consideration. In a short time, flareAI has generated over a million dollars in eCommerce conversions to store owners. Let flareAI help you to grow your revenue on the world's best free sales channels.

Hope this was helpful and wish you the best with your store.

Hello @NatureBed
Hope you are doing very well!

As per our analysis, your current store speed on mobile is 30 and on the desktop is 49 which is considered very poor and as per recent trends maximum reach of the audiences is through the mobile so the speed for mobile is not good then it will affect your audience reach because customers want the hassle-free shopping without any interruption.

So I mention a few points that will affect the speed and it will only be achieved by a good developer--

Following things would be done to optimize your store speed: -
1. Full speed optimization Audit.
2. Check and fix all halting Java scripts if any.
3. Check and remove apps' obsolete code if any.
4. Check and optimize all website assets (images, CSS, JS, etc.)
5. Images optimization & compression.
6. Optimize the video section to an optimized version if any.
7. Apply Lazy loading per section wherever required.
8. Check and defer scripts wherever required.
9. Improve liquid rendering time.
10. Improve Largest Contentful Paint LCP [Web Vitals] as per Gtmetrix.
11. Improve Cumulative Layout Shift [Web Vitals] as per Gtmetrix.
12. Improve TBT - Total blocking time as per GTmetrix.
13. Improve FID - First Input delay
14. Pre Load critical assets.
15. Handle third-party script [ app ].
16. Font loading.
17. Compress js and CSS files.
18. Apply CDN where required.
19. Lazyload images and iframes.
20. Remove unused JavaScript from the theme.
21. Preload assets where required.
22. Optimize videos and Gif
23. Improve overall page loading time
24. Implement AMP pages if required.
25. Improver overall core web vitals score based on lighthouse policy.

On these points, if you optimize it will be surely that you achieve good speed.

Thanks and Regards

Hi @NatureBed, thank you for visiting the Shopify Forum

Speed is critical for a good customer experience & to get more conversions. It also helps with Google Ranking. If you look at it from the Shopify dashboard you'd want a score at least over 50.Some tips to increase speed without getting into code include:

  • Reducing image size (you can use tinypng.com before uploading)
  • not using Page Builders (like Shogun)
  • Deleting unnecessary apps

To make it crazy fast we do need to get into code: to defer and async JS and CSS, remove old app code, minify files, setup lazy loading and more. We offer seven days delivery and unlimited revisions. Clients routinely see 2x to 3x store increase. if we don't increase your speed we offer 100% Money back guaranteed. Please contact us at info@madebylanzi.com to request this service

Hoped it helped

Happy Sales,

Hello @NatureBed

Hope you are doing very well!

Here are a few tips by which you can improve your mobile speed -

1. Measure and minimize server response time.

2. Avoid or minimize redirects to accelerate mobile page speed.

3. Rigorously measure round trip times (External JS, External CSS, Images using CSS sprites.)

4. Load above the fold content before below the fold content

5. Put JS at the bottom and CSS at the top of the HTML files

6. Optimise and minify CSS and JS files (For CSS: CSS Nano and also csso, For JS: Uglify JS in addition to YUI Compressor)

7. Use gzip compression to reduce file size.

Thanks
