SSL pending and Site design problem

I just want to ask why my SSL pending takes 5 days and I have one more question about site design. Why everything I edited inside the Shopify app did not apply to the site, it's all in base color and everything is messed up.

Hey @GoodsGalore0,

 

When you add your custom domain, a new SSL certificate is automatically created. The SSL should have been provisioned within 48 hours of connecting it. Did you purchase your domain through Shopify? If so, our team can manually provision the domain certificate from our end.

 

From here, please navigate to our Help Center here and proceed to ask the virtual chat assistant to contact support. You can follow the prompts from there in order to be connected with one of our Support Advisors.

 

If you connected your domain through a third party vendor, head to your DNS settings and check the following: 

  • Verify that your A record is 23.227.38.65 and your CNAME record is shops.myshopify.com.
  • If you use CAA records, verify that you have added all the required certification authorities.
  • If you use an AAAA record, remove it.
  • If you have DNSSEC enabled for your domain, then disable it.

 

In regard to your website design, have you been editing your theme via the mobile app? It's also possible your browser or device might be showing a cached version of your site. Try clearing your cache or viewing your site in a private/incognito window.

I'm having the same issue and I cannot contact support for the life of me. I transferred my domain from a third-party source. The SSL is provisioning, however, it completely broke the design of my site. It looks like some of the CSS files somehow got moved or the link changed in the process. Please help in any way possible.
