Hello,
I've tried to connect my domain to my shopify store and the SSL has been pending for a few days (the domain says connected and next to it SSL pending). I followed all the steps carefully and controlled that there was nothing interfering. But deosn't seem to work. I'm not sure if the problem comes from my side or not. Would love some help 🙂

Thank you for getting in touch! Who is your domain provider? If it is GoDaddy - did it go through the automatic set up or did you add the records manually? What I would recommend is removing the domain from your store. I would then recommend logging into GoDaddy and accessing your DNS Settings and go through the following steps:
Edit your A record to point to Shopify's IP address 23.227.38.65
Copy
The domain settings panel might feature drop-downs or editable fields, or you might have to check boxes or edit a table. You need to:
23.227.38.65
Copy as the destination for the A record.Save the A Record (click Save, Save Zone File, Add Record, or similar).
Find the CNAME record in your DNS settings.
Change your www
CNAME record to point to shops.myshopify.com
Copy . Often, you need to provide just the prefix without the dot, but for some domain providers you need the whole subdomain. Use the existing entries as a guide, or follow your provider's instructions. CNAME records must always point to a domain name, never to an IP address.
Save the CNAME Record (usually by clicking Save or Add record or similar).
Now you need to verify your connection in Shopify.

Thanks for your answer. I did all this manually and the info seems correct do you think it's worth deconnecting and reconnecting the domain?
Also, the domain seems to be connected but awaiting SSL.
If you would like, I can reach out to you via email to authenticate you as the owner and provision the certs from our end. Is the email listed on your community profile here the same that you use to log in to Shopify?

I have the same issue for 3 days now , SSL pending and my domain is through GoDaddy .

Are you still experiencing this issue? When it comes to things like this I would have to recommend contacting our support team directly to get the quickest fix possible. When you connect a domain to your Shopify store from a third party such as GoDaddy it can take a few hours for the DNS records to propagate and for the SSL to go from pending to active.

Hi I am facing a similar issue, moving over from Wix to Shopify. Can you please fix this urgently via email certification. Still says SSL pending even though I tried both automatic and manual settings.

When did you transfer the domain over? It can take 24-72 hours for the SSL cert to propagate once the domain has been connected. As mentioned above, the best way to have this looked at is to contact our support team as they will be able to look at your account internally in a way that is not possible to do without authenticating you as the account owner.

Hello, I connected the domain icarolibros.com but it is still pending after several days.
@ICAROLIBROS your A records are wrong & your nameservers. You need to remove the A record for 107.154.155.148 and set your CNAME as per this guide from Shopify.
I got the same problem. My SSL is still pending.. My domain is connected already (Got it fixed already)

I've been googling non-stop and still no answer. I purchased my domain from Google Domains and it says connected but the SSL has been pending for a few days now. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting to no avail. I really would like to get my shop up and running before my free trial ends so I can be sure Shopify is where I'd like to keep shop at. Please help ASAP.

Well actually the pending SSL problem has been solved. And now I'm facing another problem. When I try to visit the website it doesn't work.
