Stopped receiving order confirmations from my store

Hey there

 

So up until like a day or two ago, I was receiving notifications for my orders but all of a sudden they have stopped. The orders are still being placed just fine, but no confirmation email.

 

Can someone suggest something?

Hi @bennyam ,

 

It should be working now I assume. There was a recent incident at Shopify that could've caused this. See here.

 

But if it's still not working, then you need to check by sending yourself a test email.

Here's how you do that:

 

Go to Settings > Notifications > Order confirmation > Preview (top right corner) > Send test email

 

Did you receive the email? Please share what happens when you send a test email.

 

If that doesn't help. Then you need to get in touch with tech support via your Support dashboard.

I'm having the same issue, for the last year, I have no "Chachingg'  & that was the best bit, But in the last two/three days I've no notification on my phone just the email. I wonder if it is the phone, Mine's old Samsung S9. Just a theory.

Oof. a year? Why is this such a problem, I wonder? It's only happened to me in the last week or so, but it's incredibly annoying.

No Shopify people here can help us figure out the issue?...

This is indeed really painful to see. All I could do here is suggest you some Third-party apps that let you get those confirmation emails and even more notifications. Guaranteed every time.

 

But alas, there doesn't seem to be a reliable solution other than that.
