Storage location (metafields) on packing lists

Hey

We need to get storage bins/locations/shelf numbers on the packing lists so that the folks at the warehouse can find the right items when fulfilling orders. What I've done so far is

- created a product list (from a product export) excel file that has the shelf numbers added (about 1200 variants)

- created a variant metafield (single line text)

So now just need to figure a) how to import the shelf numbers to Shopify/the correct metafields and b) how to show them on the packing lists.

And if there's another way to achieve this I'm all ears. Thanks
