Hi team,
Im in Australia, however my supplier is in the United Kingdom. So when I get their product list, the pricing in the spreadsheet is in pounds. So if I was to import using that file, does the store currency have to be set to British pounds?
If I changed my store currency to Australian Dollars and import that file, it would assume the prices on that file are in Aussie dollar?? Is this right?
The reason I ask if because Ive just setup AfterPay, but it seems the store Currency needs to be set to Aussie or US Dollar for AfterPay to work properly.
This would mean I'd have to adjust the pricing in the spreadsheet to represent the Aussie conversion price before uploading??
Have I got this right?? Pick below-
Regards,
Adrian
Hi @AdrianBK,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I'm happy to provide some assistance with uploading products to the shop, to ensure this gets resolved.
Currently Shopify supports various currencies, allowing you to set the shop's currency in whatever makes the most sense for your business. I recommend checking out our Selling and Getting Paid documentation for more information on this.
As your supplier provides product pricing in GBP, you would have to manually update the pricing within the Product CSV File prior to importing into the shop. For example, if your shop is switched to sell in AUS, you can update the product pricing within the CSV file to be in AUS before importing.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns!

Hi @AdrianBK ,
I may have a solution for you 🙂
I am developer of shopify app called Feeds Bridge, you can find it here on shopify app store.
Feeds Bridge is multi vendor catalog management system which includes currency convertion.
Since each vendor may have different settings (including currency) you can set different currency that your store is using and provide pricing convertion rate once done, your products cost prices will be re-calculated based on your provided convertion rate.
The only requirement is that you need to get your catalog in one of the following formats Excel, CSV, TAB or PIPE delimited files.
