Can someone clarify the difference between Store Language and Market Language?
in Settings> Languages I set Default Store language to (fr). Secondary to (en)
Then in markets I set (en) as default and (fr) as secondary - for my primary (and only) market.
At this point Market's language settings seem to override Stores language settings on the storefront.
Why is this?
Are the Store language settings still relevant?
Should both settings point to the same language?
What is the right way to set up the languages?
I am not sure i fully grasp the logic behind these settings.
Thanks!

For anyone looking for this info, this is the reply i got from Shopify support:
When using Shopify Markets, by default each new market uses the stores Default language. For example if your **Store Language** is set to **English**, when you create a market your **primary domain** will display in English unless you tell the system otherwise. The Store Language remains relevant for any merchants who choose not to use Markets for their business.
You can see this expressed in our help docs for [Managing languages in Shopify Help Center](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/markets/languages/manage-languages#manage-languages-for-markets)
However in the situation you describe where you have your Store language set to French and secondary to English, but your Market's language is set to English with French enabled as a secondary language, the system is interprets that as: *Anyone visiting this primary domain, will see that primary domain's default language*. In short **market language** reads **store language** as a guide for what to default to, but if the language defaults aren't consistent **market language** takes priority.

The Primary domain was deactivated following this upgrade.
Setting -> No longer accessible domains (This page is having trouble loading...)
The major market language was converted to a local language following the introduction of markets, and translations for the principal domain were turned off. Previously, my store was available in English and other languages.
When attempting to add more translated languages or modify the default langue, I received
Despite the primary domain being selected, an error occurred: "The principal market must utilize the primary domain." As there is no longer a primary-domain.com/fr, /es, etc., all local links to Posts and Pages are lost, which is a complete nightmare for SEO.
Does anyone with this problem know how to fix it?
Hi, I have a question concerning this:
What happens to the SEO text and description which are indicated in the store language but not in market language? will they be also translated somewhere? Will having different store and market languages create issues with google search console?
Thanks
