Support to Nextjs based shopify apps in the context of replacing nextJS with ExpressJs

Dear Shopify Community,

I recently found that there is a plan to replace nextJS with expressJS to reduce unnecessary complexity.

I would like to know if there is any plan to end support for nextJS-based Shopify apps. If yes, what is the time period available to migrate?
