Suspicious email from mailer@shopify-service.com

We received an email from mailer@shopify-service.com asking us to confirm our company details.

Is this a real Shopify support email?

Hi ZZ_KNIGHT,

One of my clients also received a very similar email today. 

I ran some diagnostics to see information from the domain shopify-service.com and found the following:

Below is what the official shopify.com domain brings up:

In short, you can see the registrant for shopify.com is MarkMonitor and the Organization is Shopify Inc. - this is all correct. 

The registrant for shopify-service.com is not available and all of the main details such as street, tech name etc. are random letters. 

I suggest to ignore this email as it is highly suspicious and contact Shopify support directly asking them about it.
