Hey everyone,

I just want to know if anyone else is having this issue with their sitemap, or know if this is a known current issue.

 

I think I pretty much have it pinned to the new shopify update for "image filters for search".

 

I have Sense version 14.0 and ever since they updated my code my sitemap has been a mess!

 

#1 they are out of order

#2 the most current products in my sitemap from around the 14th or so of this month have missing image data! So basically its just the url. and nothing else....

NOT GOOD!

Google does not like messy maps and it will hinder your products from surfacing on google properly.

So I was wondering if everyone can check their sitemap and if you have an issue post it here too!

If you know your product sitemap url great, or another way to check is to go onto your GSC and click on your sitemap in sidebar then click your map then find and click on your "products" sitemap. There will be a link "open sitemap" near top right of page (desktop) click it. Then look to see if your sitemap is out of order or data missing for recently added products from the last 2 weeks I would say.

ps. I know there is an update for my theme to 15.0 but I need to make sure they have a fix for this included before I update!

Hey PageFly-Theodor, well I did contact support....

 

between the waste of white space "AI help"  and the reply from shopify "support", "sorry I cant assist you with this.. its a code issue".. Well no ****  , and they told me to look here. 

Ya know they have really gone down south in support. No diag,.. nothing, just quickly washed their hands of it. 

 

Sooo, pretty irritated.
