Test order issues

Hi

i did a test order on my website and had a few issues.

1. No email received by shopify to say I received an order. Where do I add my email in for this? 
2. I have a custom name box at checkout. This is where the customers enter the name they want Engraved. This information never pulled through to my dropshippers website. Is this an issue on their end or shopify end?
