Testing Shopify free trial, decided not to move forward. Now Site says "This Store is Unavailable"

I signed up for the free trial to see if shopify would meet my needs. I decided after a few minutes it would not. I removed the domain in the settings, and then deactivated the account. But my website is apparently still trying to forward to shopify because when i try to access it it says the Store is not available. This has all been in the last couple hours. Do I just need to wait or is there something I'm missing?
