Hello Shopify Community,

What's the easiest and most simple way to track purchases made through my Google Ads campaigns? I have been trying to set it up through YouTube videos, support pages etc but this is just very confusing.

I have the Google and YouTube app, my products are all approved and I guess I am tracking conversions 

Is this enough? My motivation to get this fixed has turned into pure frustration.

Thanks for your query.

I am here to reduce your frustration.

If you want to track Google Ads conversions with the maximum accuracy Google and Youtube is not the solution.

There is no alternative to configure through Google Tag Manager. 

Shopify's new checkout feature is not yet optimized to track purchases accurately. I tried with many of my clients. but later on, I had to move on with GOogle Tag Manager. 

GTM enables us to track purchases both from the browser and server end which ensures maximum data accuracy. and you can control the events and send recommended event parameters easily.
