Trade theme - somewhat blurry images almost everywhere

Hi,

Since I started using this new Trade theme a few days ago most of the places my images are shown seem to show them slightly blurry.

For example on the frontpage in the collection section, the images are clearly a lot more blurry than if you were to click through to the product page and click the image to enlarge. Which shows that there is indeed a sharper image quality available. Also if you hover over these images, it seems to load a sharper version of the image. How do I make it so that this sharper image is always loaded by default?

My website is https://heymatcha.nl

Does anyone know where to find the code for this in the trade theme and what to edit?

Hey,

It is indeed showing up blurred, especially on mobile where the blur is clearly seen.

I'm not entirely sure what file it is located in Trade theme. As for what to edit, you want to look out for code that looks something like this:

These are the lines of code that are controlling what image width to show to the screen. I cannot give you exact instructions on what to change it into because there's not a lot of information, and it would require a lot of testing to ensure the images are clear across all screen sizes.

However, if you'd like me to help you out with locating it and changing the code, feel free to let me know. Just a heads up, I don't expect any payment for this, I just want to help.

Hey thanks for replying to me here as well!

I had already found the code block that you mention, and I simply copied the highest setting to all the other places just to force it to use the largest one, but that did nothing.

Anyway I will be working on the variant section for now, this will be a second problem to solve. But like i just said if I can't solve it on my own I will be sure to contact you for possible help.

Awesome! Goodluck dude! Coding can be real fun and frustrating sometimes hahaha, but when it works, you know it's going to be a joyful experience.
