Hello, Shopify community!
I hope you can help me. I am a developer working on a client's site and I am having trouble getting the copyright text on the checkout page to change. I have tried changing the code for the footer and the text in the customization menu neither has worked (of course the text has changed on the rest of the site.. just not the checkout page).
My client is not a premium Shopify subscriber (I know that I would have access to the checkout css file if that were so)
I have tried to target the class names "copyright-text" and that does not seem to work, I imagine for the same reason listed above.. Any help would be greatly appreciated, even just to tell me that it is impossible.
Thank you in advance!

Hi @quixote
Welcome to the Shopify Community Forums! Thank you for reaching out with your question.
I understand that you are trying to change a specific line of text that appears on the checkout page of your store. Are you able to share a preview link to the store you are working on and a screenshot of the specific text you are trying to change?
While you may not be able to access to the checkout.liquid, you can also see if the text can be edited or hidden using the theme language editor. If you go to Online Store > Themes > Actions > Edit Language, you can change almost all of the precreated text available on the store, even on the checkout. If you want to remove the field of text you can just add a single empty space into the field for it so that it stays blank.
Hopefully that solves it for you, but if not please send me the link and screenshot and I can take a closer look.
