We’re working with the Shopify Dawn theme and trying to add custom draggable elements (like animals on a candle) to a product. We need to capture the positions of these elements as custom line item properties (e.g., properties[custom_positions]) and submit them with the product form.
Issue:
We’re struggling to locate the main product form in the Dawn theme. We can’t find where to add the custom hidden input fields to capture this data. Without this, we can’t ensure that our custom properties are submitted with the order.
Has anyone worked with the Dawn theme and successfully added custom properties to the product form? Any guidance on where to find the form and how to add custom fields would be greatly appreciated!
Hi there,
This is Amelia from PageFly - Landing Page Builder App
You can try navigating to the theme folder and locating the main-product.liquid file.
Once there, search for keywords as shown in the image you have.
This will help you find the product form where you can add your input properties.
I hope this helps!
Best regards,
Amelia | PageFly
