Unable To Remove Express Checkout Buttons From First Page of Checkout

Hi all,

I have follow this tutorial (https://community.shopify.com/c/blog/remove-the-express-checkout-buttons-from-first-checkout-page/ba...) several times on several different themes thinking that it may be the theme but each time only the buttons on the cart page got removed while the buttons remained on the first page of checkout. Can someone please help me remove these buttons? I only want them to be visible once they reach the payment part. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much.  (At the moment I am using Dawn but am willing to change themes if necessary, especially if it's a quicker one.)

sorry but checkout page customization allow only shopify plus plan

So on Shopify Plus you have the option to remove the express checkout from checkout/information page and keep it in final step, but not on a normal plan?

no sorry you have disable your payment option PayPal, google pay

Okay, not Ideal, I will stick with it for now and have to export manually the customer list from PayPal. obviously screws up the email marketing sequence though.

All Good, I contacted them, it turns out I dont need to remove it, after the customers goes to paypal they are returned to the information page to continue. thanks
