Unexplained font changes when using bullet points

I am using Dawn theme.

When adding products, if I add bullet points to the product description it changes the font on the front end.

I'm not certain if this is the ONLY cause but I do know that adding bullet points is one reason it occurs.

In the backend editor, everything looks ok. On the front end, the font size is different.

In the backend editor, I go to HTML and where the issue is, I can see that a code block has been inserted that includes a font size specification of 0.875!

To fix this I have to remove all of these code blocks manually. This is very time-consuming and shouldn't be necessary IMO.
