Unwanted redirect keeps coming back

Hi Guys,

When I'm in my store direction like the order page, after a while i automatically will be redirect to this URL: https://monetoad.com/redir/clickGate.php?u=u68EH62H&p=V2mx2m1kk4&m=30&url=https%3A%2F%2Fduke-sons-le...

Very annoying because it wil also give a HTTP ERROR 423 andd show this screen.
I already moved the cookies and blocked it but it stil happens.
Does anyone knows what will cause this redirect?

Well another approach I would recommend is trying to disable all your Chrome extensions and apps then trying again, try from another device or a freshly installed Chrome without any extensions or apps.

I disabled all extensions in Chrome and it runs all day without redirecting.
Gonna enable them one by one to see what causes the redirect...

Hello, did you find which extension causes this redirection? It's definitely not a theme problem, (mine is licensed + dev improvements)... However it is impossible for me to delete all my extensions and cookies, too much important data, your answer would help me a lot 🙂

Not sure, but I had a few AliExpress search extensions which are still disabled and I have no issues anymore. My Tip: disable them all and enable them one for one to see which one causes the problem.

I am also getting a similar error since I joined Shopify 3 weeks ago. Today I even got the same error when I was viewing the Live Preview of the Shopify theme on the Envato element website which was strange for me. Deleting history or cookies does not solve the problem. Any idea or help to fix this repeated error permanently?

Ok, let me tell me what I think.

I guess this is called Traffic Hijacking, when an attacker take advantage of a secure website to use it to get more traffic to another website. Even this URL is currently dead, this means that www.dukeandsonsleather.com contacted someone to get more traffic for their website and they somehow got scammed.

This is why one of Shopify's Theme Store Requirements that the theme cannot be sold at any other market place or have any links pointing to other websites, affiliate links or so.

It only happens when I'm in the store environment, like checking the orders. After a few minutes of inactive, the redirect occurs.

Hi, are you using any apps? I use theme ‘prestige ‘ and the teambuilding checked it. Perhaps it is a weak spot in an app.

Redirects to monetoad website while in Shopify Dashboard. Tried to contact the theme developer but that's Shopify. So... fix it?

If you use any Spotify store spying extension, Like Koala Inspector, delete it.
