Discuss and resolve questions on Liquid, JavaScript, themes, sales channels, and site speed enhancements.
Hi, Wendy from Orange Grove here at www.orangegrove.co.nz
I was trying to sort out a solution to allow inventory count to work for products and then for product variants.
Now the add to cart function is not working although I have tried to reverse all changes to code that I made.
Can anyone help please, I have been trying to get customers and now have one unable to order 😞
This is the page I was working from https://parasoul.ltd.uk/shopify/dawn-theme-display-inventory-quantity
Thanks in advance, I am pretty desperate here
Hello @wendycain,
Your website is getting JavaScript errors, you need to hire a developer for this task.
Seriously, who do you recommend?
can you please comments your last code
i can see many error
please remove last app or js code or dawn load your fresh theme and ck its work
Hi there @wendycain!
Sorry to hear you're having a bit of a hard time with this currently.
I'd like to check a couple of things out with you here, to see how you might be able to remedy this.
As others have suggested here, the best bet would be if you could simply remove the code you had recently added before this issue cropped up.
I know you stated that you had attempted to remove all such code, but did you know there is an option to revert recent changes to .liquid files in your theme?
If you haven't already, check this option out in the Online store > Themes > Edit code menu in your admin, and see if you can roll back files that have been edited recently to a point before these changes.
For future reference, it's always a good idea to make a backup copy of your theme by duplicating it.
Let me know how you get on with reverting code changes in your theme and best of luck with everything!

Thank you Don, I am kicking myself for forgetting to make a copy first. I have tried many times to roll back but it doesn't stick. Am on New Zealand time and its early morning now, will have another go. It looks like all the code is gone but still no luck so far.
Thanks again
Wendy
Hi again, @wendycain!
Sorry to hear you're still struggling with this and I do wish there were more we could do ourselves in Shopify.
As this is third-party, custom code you have added here though even our own theme support team would not be able to help out with this.
If you're unable to resolve this for yourself in a timely fashion, you could look at hiring an Expert Developer for a small task to try to get this working.
You may also be lucky enough to get some input from the community here, as there are plenty of knowledgable merchants and Partners here!
Do let us know if you have any other questions or if there's anything else we can help out with in the future.
All the best!
