I recently exported all my products to update their prices and then re-imported them. However, I just realized that only a few product images were imported, and most of the images are missing. I have a CSV file backup, but none of the attempts to restore the products have worked. Is there a way to roll back the product list to a specific date before the import? Could you please advise on what I might be doing wrong and the best way to recover the missing images?
Thanks for your help!
Your product images likely didn’t import correctly due to missing or incorrect URLs in the CSV. First, check if your platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.) supports rollback or backups. Open the CSV file and verify that the image URLs are complete and correct. If the images were hosted on your store’s media library, check if they are still there. Some hosting providers keep daily backups, so you may be able to restore your store to a previous date. If not, re-upload the images manually or update the CSV with the correct URLs before re-importing.
