URL redirect from Shopify Store to external website (Etsy Shop)

Good morning/afternoon Shopify Community,

I have an instagram account with 115k followers and have been sending them to my Shopify Store for a little while now.
Truth is, I have been trying harder than I should have and probably made too many mistakes on the way.
I opened a new Etsy shop and I would like to set up a URL redirect so the little traffic I get on the Shopify Store gets redirected to my new Etsy shop.
I am wondering if someone managed to do in the past and how.

Thank you for your suggestion.
I have tried this but it did not work. The suggested solution seems to work when a user is willing to redirect a subdomain to another one. 
In my case, I am trying to redirect the home page to external website, so I'm not entirely losing my existing trafic

I see. There is another way using Javascript or coding. However, this takes an extra 1-2 seconds to redirect. 

You could also try to redesign your homepage to tell the user to be redirected to your etsy shop. Then a button to help them go there.
