Hi there everyone! Hope you are doing fine in this trying times.
Our agency is planning to develop and sell a new Theme for Shopify. One of the ideas is to take the Debut theme as base and start from there, instead of starting from scratch.
We were wondering if there is any licence issues with this approach, I've made several google searches looking for an answer and even asked in the partners Slack, without any luck.
Thanks in advance.
I asked this in the Shopify Partners Slack channel, and it was a big NO.
You can do it, but not if you intend to sell it
