Using custom payment methods from POS app with API

Hello!

I have set up the Shopify POS app with custom payment methods like described in this article under "Activating custom payments for the Shopify POS app".

Is there any way to use this custom payment methods with the Shopify API? I already found the mutation orderMarkAsPaid for setting the order paid. Now I'm just missing the gateway information of the custom payment method.

Same question here, anyone got an answer to using Shopify POS Custom Payment, then sending it over API & accepting approval? It does not state in any docs
