Variables only show up when I click on Choose Options and Disappear when I click on the product.

I created 2 Variables for Tumbler Lids 

1. Size (10 oz, 20 oz, 30 oz)  

2. Style  (magnetic lid, sliding lid, pushing lid, flipping lid etc) 

 

PROBABLY EASIEST TO WATCH THE VIDEO TO UNDERSTAND (THANKS) 

Customer should be able to click on the product and then choose The Style and Size, however they can only see this if they click on Choose Options. If they click on the product you see the 2 variables and then quickly one disappears. I attached images and video to show you what I mean. Does anyone know possible reasons for this?

Hot take: It's probably something to do with globo-swatches app.

Otherwise what is the store url, or a preview reproducing the issue,  for others to inspect

The style change/flicker around 0:08 in your video can be from many types of issues:

 

  1. Disable any adblock , userstyle , or admin type of browser extensions.
  2. Disable any ab testing campaigns.
  3. If new apps have been added/removed , or theme customizations created/reverted then try in a different browser/private-browsing mode to rule out cache issues.
  4. Has the theme been customized, is this issue present in a new theme install.
  5. Do you have any type of product-personalization, or variant-swatch apps etc installed that affect the frontend in anyway? disable one by one and test
  6. check the site for javascript errors  in developer console (ctrl+shift+j in chrome browser windows), or inspect the network tabs for app behavior
  7. validate the website https://validator.w3.org/ your mainly looking for malformed errors and unclosed tags.

@PaulNewton is right. Globo app hides your default theme buttons. Check the configuration -- make it ignore non-Color options?

Wow, thank you. I found that I have a variant swatch app called GLO Color Swatch. All I did was hit UPDATE data and BAM it works. Thank you So much Appreciate it. 2024-08-12_22-18-27.jpg
