Variants on some products appearing twice on product page

Hi.

As the title says. Yesterday everything was fine, today, on several of my products the variant drop downs appear twice. I just attempted deleting one of the products and recreating it but it's still happening.

Any help would be much appreciated as I was hoping to open on Monday.

Thanks for your response Sarv, fortunately the Shopify support staff have resolved the issue.

For the benefit of anyone else who might encounter the same thing, it occurred because I was copying and pasting product description from one product to another. Apparently I was also copying and pasting some invisible HTML in the description which caused the issue.

Here is the advice I got to remedy the issue, which worked a treat!

If you'll encounter the same error in the future, Here's how to fix this error:

• Open a text editor that removes all formatting. On a PC, you would use the Notepad. On a Mac, TextEdit.
• Open a a product admin that has this problem.
• Copy the formatted text from the description area and paste it into your text editor. This will remove bolding, bullets, and images.
• Back on the product admin, click the <> button to view the description's code. Delete all of it.
• Click the <> to go back to the formatting editor.
• This is the most important part: Copy the unformatted text from your text editor and paste it into the formatting editor.
• Use the formatting bar to replace any lost formatting and images.
