Try to optimize the following issues

Reduce unused JavaScript (Inline / defer)

> Properly size images (Resize and convert them to webp format to load faster)

> Reduce unused CSS (Inline or provide critical css and defer the original CSS)

If you google how to do them you will find many articles. If you need help you can contact me. Thanks

Hello @Martin1000,

I am Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $5Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot. I am here to support you.

Certainly, improving your website's speed is crucial to reduce bounce rates and improving user experience.

Following are a few tips to help you optimize your Shopify store's speed.

1. Minimize the use of apps
While apps can add functionality to your store, they can also slow it down. It's essential to review the apps you're using and remove any that aren't necessary. Consider using apps that bundle multiple functionalities into one to reduce the number of installed apps.

2. Optimize images
Images play a significant role in slowing down your website. Ensure that all images are compressed and optimized for the web to reduce their file size. You can also use lazy loading to load images only when a user scrolls down to them.

3. Minimize CSS and JavaScript files
You can move your CSS and JavaScript files to the footer to improve page load times. Additionally, you can consider minimizing these files by removing any unnecessary code or using a minification tool.

4. Use a faster theme
The theme you're using might be causing the slow speed. Consider switching to a faster theme, such as a free theme from Shopify's theme store, or a paid theme from a reputable developer.

5. Optimize for mobile
With mobile users increasing each day, it's essential to ensure your site is optimized for mobile devices. Use mobile-first design, optimize images, and keep the design minimalistic to avoid slow load times.

6. Remove unnecessary code
Check your website's code for any unused or unnecessary code that could be slowing it down. This could include unused apps or scripts, unused styles, and unused snippets.

7. Optimize your fonts
Large, complex fonts can slow down your website's speed. Consider using web-safe fonts or custom fonts that have been optimized for the web.

8. Minimize HTTP requests
Reduce the number of HTTP requests your website makes by combining CSS and JavaScript files, and reducing the number of images and videos on your website.

By implementing these tips, you can improve your website's speed and reduce the bounce rate.

You have some app which seems to be called Optimonk and it has a lot of scripts running on the loading of the site. I would be willing to bet that is what is slowing you down.

Also, something called Consent manager appears to have some effects slow down.

Your images are fine, nothing wrong with them.

Thats all I could really pick up on, can't say how much it will improve, but you could start with that.

Soon to be best friends

Hi @Martin1000

Sid here from Yoast SEO for ShopifyI am here to help.

Having a look at the Pagespeed insights and the replies already sent by the other participants of this conversation, I also agree with their findings and suggestions.

I'd like also to clarify that Yoast SEO for Shopify uses a single JS file that is practically empty and is used to identify if our app is present or not, so it has no impact on your site's performance.

That said, for speed optimization, the following resources may be helpful to you:

Hope this helps!
