Hello, I'm looking for some honest feedback from all the developers here. I hired a web developer who is taking advantage of me; after we finish our contract, he keeps asking for additional fees and threatens to delete his programme at any time. He created the programme and integrated it into Shopify, but he no longer has access to my email or Shopify log in. Could he still cause harm on my website even without logging in? Please do enlighten me.
Thanks in advance.
I won't get in the middle of the conflict itself as I have seen examples of either side being in the wrong - and times that both are. Won't have anywhere near enough context to comment on this one!

If the user no longer has an account (and that includes both staff or collaborator) accounts it would stop them from accessing the Admin. However if there's an app installed (or custom app created) it could give them access to certain aspects of the shop. How much access depends on the scope the app has. If you feel that someone has access you should do a good review of apps installed just to be 100% sure. If you don't know how, give the support team a shout.
It all depends on what exactly the developer has developed in your shop. If it is JS/CSS/HTML, then he wouldnt be able to change or remove these parts of the code in your store. But if this is a third-party app that has external servers, etc., then there is a chance that the developer will be able to disable certain functions of this app.
