Hi Dan1213,

Heddy from Gameball here.

A few things could be causing this. Sometimes, certain apps or features get updated, which might add extra code that slows down your site. It’s also possible that images or videos on the mobile version are too large, causing longer load times. Another culprit might be scripts or third-party integrations specifically affecting mobile performance. If you haven’t already, try running a site speed test for the mobile version to see where the bottlenecks are. From there, you can start tweaking things. You might also want to consider reaching out to Shopify support to see if they can help spot anything unusual.

A good place to start on what's slowing your website down is https://pagespeed.web.dev/

The tool loads your website on mobile & desktop and analyzes its performance and accessibility. In addition to this it also checks if your website adhere to website best practices and if your website is optimized for SEO.

I took the liberty for trying it out for your site, here's what I found.

Performance on Desktop:

Performance on Mobile:

I'm going to focus on the issues on Mobile although most of these optimizations will translate to Desktop as well.

  1. Properly size your images for mobile: Your images are designed for desktops. So they take longer to render on mobile which may not have as fast internet connections & as much computing power. Page speed has a short article on properly sizing your images. Craftware_0-1725945497079.png
  2. Remove unused Javascript: Nearly 50% of your Javascript is not used by your website and can be removed. https://apps.shopify.com/hyperspeed appears to be a reliable page speed optimization app. I recommend contacting the developer to see if their app will solve this issue for you. Unfortunately, I couldn't find many articles to help you do this yourself, so if Hyperspeed isn't compatible for your use case or is too expensive, you may need to piece things together yourself. Craftware_1-1725945650844.pngCraftware_2-1725945673719.png
  3.  Website is too complex: Your website's design is too nested. As you increase the number of elements on a website, the time for the initial load goes up proportionally. Unfortunately, there's no automation to fix this problem for you and you will need to either do this yourself or hire an expert.Craftware_3-1725945861671.png

These are just the notable issues I found on PageSpeed for your store. I recommend you run this yourself and figure out which of these optimizations can be carried out immediately and cheaply, then you can measure the time savings from those changes and figure out if you need to further optimize things.

Good luck!
