What AR-Framework is Shopify using?

Hello, I am asking this question in regards to an assignment I am writing for university. Unfortunately, I am not so technical and I could not find a direct answer to it online. There were mentions of AR.js, WebAR and ARkit but what is Shopify using to enable user to use AR in there Chrome or Safari browser? I am aware that a 3D model is required for this. I would really appreciate it if I can get a brief answer and if possible a source from where the information is from.
