What happens to Google Content API when switching themes?

What will switching themes do across my Google Content API? For instance, since I've had to embed certain codes for Tag Manager and GA4 (Google Analytics 4), what will that unused code, on my old theme, do to my data streams once I install the new theme (Dawn)? Should I delete the old coding/embeds form the old theme? Will it conflict with the Google API coding/embeds that I now have to re-implement on the new theme?
