I am in the very beginning stages of building my store and I have found that after when I preview my products that have variants (colour) the price changes from what I have set (£6.99) to £19.99 and sold out.
I haven't added any new themes to cause this. I tried to update "Dawn" to remedy this but to no avail.
If someone has any similar issues and has solved them, please can you let me know what you did? Thanks.
Hi, @AshisJogia.
Are you using a third-party app to control your products or variants? If so, you can try to disable the app's features if it's available to do so within the app, to see if the issue will be fixed.
You can also try and install a fresh copy of a different Shopify theme by going to Online store > Themes > Explore free themes and select a theme to add to your library. From there, click on Actions > Preview, and you can then navigate to the product page to see if the product prices will reflect the ones you've set within your Shopify admin. If the issues don't persist on the fresh theme, chances are a third-party app may be interfering with how your website is meant to function.
Where are you sourcing your products from? Is it perhaps a dropshipping app, such as Oberlo? The reason why I bring this up is because Oberlo, for example, has an auto-update feature for pricing, where prices will automatically change in accordance to how the supplier has priced the products. On Oberlo, this can be deactivated by going to Settings > Auto updates, and under the When the costs changes setting heading, select Do Nothing. You can also read more about this process on our Oberlo Help Center here. If you aren't using Oberlo however, but are using another third-party app that manages your products, you can also double check within the third-party app itself to see if there is a similar auto-update pricing feature too.
In the case that you're still unable to pin point where the issue is stemming from, we can help look into this further for you. To do this however, we'd need to access your account. We aren't able to provide account-specific support within our Shopify Community Forums at this stage, but you can via our help centre here. Once you've logged in to your store on our help centre, type in your question or the topic you need help with. After that, you should see the Get Support heading at the very bottom of the page, and you can click Continue to start a support request. From there, our support team can assist with your query further.
You mention that you're also in the process of currently building your store – what an exciting stage to be in! I'll link some resources below in regards to store design, for further help if you need it:

Hi Kimi
Thanks for the response! I have tried installing a new free theme and publishing but it still remains at £19.99. I have also checked my Oberlo settings and all the auto updates are set to do nothing.
I will go down the route of support using your link.
Thanks!
Thanks for the update and for trying those steps, @AshisJogia!

I got the same problem except I'm using Dsers instead of Oberlo. Can someone help?
Hi, @GYMING.
I've just checked Dsers' help guide here, and it looks like they update their product pricing every 2 hours. So depending on whether or not you have the automatic product pricing feature enabled on your Dsers account, this may be what's causing your products to change their pricing automatically.
If you're unsure how to turn this setting off, because Dsers is a third-party app, you can get in touch with the Dsers support team so that they can help you further with this. You'll be able to find their contact information under the Support heading within the app listing page on the Shopify app store here.
If for whatever reason you're unable to reach the app's support team however, you can get in touch with our live support team instead, who can contact the Dsers support team from our end. You can reach out to our live support team via our help centre here. Once you've logged in to your store on our help centre, type in your question or the topic you need help with. After that, you should see the Get Support heading at the very bottom of the page, and you can click Continue to start a support request. From there, our support team can assist with your query further.

I have the same issue. Please if anyone can help me.
Hi, @tatianabauer.
Do you have an app installed on your store that controls your products? Some product and dropshipping apps have a setting that changes product pricing automatically, so you can double check to see if this is the case for your store.
Have you also tried the troubleshooting step I provided in my first reply, in regards to installing a fresh copy of a Shopify theme? I'll copy it below for ease of access:
You can also try and install a fresh copy of a different Shopify theme by going to Online store > Themes > Explore free themes and select a theme to add to your library. From there, click on Actions > Preview, and you can then navigate to the product page to see if the product prices will reflect the ones you've set within your Shopify admin. If the issues don't persist on the fresh theme, chances are a third-party app may be interfering with how your website is meant to function.
If you're still having issues after the steps above however, feel free to get in touch with our live support team here so that we can authenticate you against the correct store and continue troubleshooting this from our end.

None of the recommended solutions works. First AliExpress is blamed, then DS blames Shopify, and Shopify blames suppliers. Spocket blames others. Now I find that a Syncee product that has nothing to do with AliExpress, and after I did all the work to get it in my store, one variant now changes to $19.99 (sold out). This is a product shipped from the US, and comes from Novarian Creations. So it looks to me that it is Shopify software that is the problem and I am really tired of it. I save prices properly, save, save, save, then it looks ok, then when somone tries to buy the item, I see it has gone back to $19.99 or some ridiculous prices that is 200% below cost. I would attach a file except jpegs and pngs aren't accepted. I have dozens of them, which I have sent off to Shopify, Spocket, and DS. I have had no useful response from anyone and I'm considering going to strictly wholesale. However, will that work within Shopify's broken pricing system?
