Hi there,
When importing our latest product update we received the following error message when importing:
What do the line parameters refer to (eg. line 1010-1059)? We only have 839 rows in the table, so I'm not sure where these errors are occurring. Any help would be appreciated.
Many Thanks

Went through this with Shopify's Tech Support with the answer as follows:
- Open the CSV file in text document such as 'Notepad'
- Each line is numbered (indicated in the bottom left hand corner)
- The error messages refer to these text lines, not lines or rows in the CSV/Excel file
Hi, @Andrew-Alcott!
Thank your for sharing your question with our network.
I'd be glad to help you dive into this. We provide detailed documentation on solutions to common product CSV import problems for you to check out and cross-reference as you work through your import.
With that being said, I could not find the exact error from your screenshot. CSV files can certainly be tricky to work with, so it's tough to say what the issue you are experiencing is without actually taking a deeper look at your import file.
As such, I invite you to share your import file with me via a file-sharing service such as Dropbox or Google Drive. If you are uncomfortable sharing this information with me publicly, then I welcome you to connect with our live Support team to assist you privately.
I look forward to your reply,

I am encountering the same issue. I'm on a Mac, and the native text editor (TextEdit) doesn't support line numbers. It would be much better if the error message returned a row number or event the product handle. I'm on a wild goose chase now, downloading an alternative text editor just so I can see which line was being referred to.
