Why am I not receiving emails from my website's customer contact form?

Hello,

I do not receive emails from the Customer contact form on my Shopify store website. I have verified the email is correct in Settings, "Notifications" and also I have verified the Sender email domain. I use Google workspace for my contact@vmrpaints.com email, I have also checked my spam/junk email in Gmail, the contact form emails are not there either. Can someone please help? Thanks!

If you're using a third-party domain and you have your own email hosting, then it's possible that the emails are being blocked or flagged as spam by the recipient's server. In order to resolve this issue, you'll need to authenticate your third-party domain and add records to connect with the Shopify Sender Policy Framework (SPF) and Domain Keys Identified Mail (DKIM) records. If you need help with adding the CNAME and DMARC records to your domain, then you can also contact your domain provider for further assistance.

That being said, I noticed that you're a new member of our Shopify Community and I'd love to hear more about your business! What kinds of products are you selling? Do you have a marketing plan prepared for your store?

As far as I know, you are using Shopify Customer form so the email data will run into customer option on Shopify dashboard rather than sending to your emails. 

To fix this issue, I think you can change into Contact form. This will still contain all the fields that Customer form containing and the notifications will be sent to your email. If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Shopify's customer support for further assistance, as they can provide specific guidance related to your Shopify setup.
