Why am I not receiving new order alerts anymore?

Hi! 

I have always recieved new order alerts via the Shopify app on my phone and to my email but the last two weeks no new orders have come through as notifications and when I go into the platform there are orders there. 

What do I need to do to get the notifications working again? 

I have not made any changes to any of the settings.  It just seems to have stopped working.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with receiving new order alerts on your Shopify app and email. Let's see if we can troubleshoot the issue together.

 

Firstly, please ensure that your app and email notification settings are still configured correctly. You can do this by logging into your Shopify account, navigating to the "Settings" tab, and selecting "Notifications" from the dropdown menu. From there, you can check that your email and app notifications are still turned on and that you are subscribed to the relevant order notifications.

 

If your settings appear to be correct, the issue may be related to your phone or email service provider. To test this, try logging into your Shopify account from a different device or internet connection to see if you receive the notifications there. If the notifications appear on the other device, the issue is likely with your phone or email provider. 

 

Alternatively, you can try restarting your phone and logging out and back into your Shopify account to see if that resolves the issue. Please also ensure that you have the latest version of the mobile app installed on your phone. You can try simply deleting the app and reinstalling again.

same issue here. last order email notification was received on June 1 2023 and nothing since. We can receive emails to other email addresses (on the same server) but not our main office email. Also not receiving cc emails that we compose to customers within the admin order portal.

@BAbbott,

 

This sounds like a possible issue with your email domain. Did you purchase your custom domain through Shopify? and which email hosting provider are you using?
