Hey @sechandstories.

Thanks for reaching out.

Just to gather some additional context, did you happen to change the DNS settings to your domain by following our third-party domain connection guide here

You may need to make the following changes to the DNS settings of the third-party domain to have it successfully pointed towards your Shopify store.

  1. Point the A record to the Shopify IP address 23.227.38.65.
  2. If necessary, change the Host name to the @ symbol.
  3. Delete any other A records on the domain if there are any present.
  4. Point the CNAME record with the name www to shops.myshopify.com.. Be sure to include the period at the end of the domain.

WIth that being said, when you make changes to the DNS settings on a domain - it may take up to 48 hours for the domain changes to be accurately reflected.

Let me know if that does the trick and if you have any questions.

Yes I have changed the DNS Settings but I have some doubts in.

I've created a new CNAME and directed it to shops.myshopify.com.

I will attach all my DNS settings as a photograph.

Kindly resolve if I made any mistakes.

I've tried attaching image but I cannot, kindly provide your mail address I will share with you for further help.

Hey @sechandstories.

Thanks for the quick response.

Do you happen to see any other error messages that are displaying on the domain? Also, would you be able to provide the domain in question so I may take a further look? It is common to see an SSL pending error message for up to 48 hours. Once the 48 hours have been completed, the SSL certificate should be applied.

Feel more than welcome to check out our in depth guide to acquiring a TLS certificate here

Looking forward to your response.

Hey @sechandstories.

Thanks for the quick response.

I would suggest reaching out to our live support to have a further look into the SSL pending error message you are seeing on the domain. Since I cannot authenticate you over the Community forums due to the sensitive information that needs to be shared, I am unable to view the specifics. In this acse, it would be best to reach out to our live support by navigating to the Help Center.

When you arrive on the Help Center, you will need to let the virtual assistant aware that you would like to Speak with support - and you will be connected with a Support Advisor accordingly.

Let me know if you have any questions.
