Why am I unable to use Shopify provided tools for my website?

Hello, I have been trying to use the shopify provided tools to make a privacy policy and some other stuff for my website, but whenever i go to shopify.com/tools, it asks me to log in, after doing which i get redirected to my admin page. When i get back to shopify.com/tools it asks me to log in again repeating every time i do so. It wont even let me use the tool without registering, What can i do?

I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question. Thank you.

What you're describing sounds like it could be a local issue, as I'm able to use the Shopify tools you linked. Would you mind clearing your cache and cookies and/or using an incognito browser to see if the issue persists? If it does, let me know and we can do some more troubleshooting.

In the meantime, if you're looking to add policies to your store, you can do so by logging into your Shopify admin and navigating to Settings > Policies! You can find more steps in this help document.

i got this same issue,whatever i do,it allways jump me to admin page.

Thanks for your comment. If you access the Shopify Tools page, are you able to click on the tools and use them? You don't need to enter your email at the top of the page, but rather select the tool you want to use, as shown here:

When it comes to policies, you can also create those directly in your Shopify admin. Simply log in and navigate to Settings > Policies to add your own policy or create one from a template. You can read more about adding store policies in this help document.

Hi Greta! I am also having the same issue! I am trying to use the Image Resizer tool, but I am experiencing the same cycle of going to shopify.com/tools, logging in and getting redirected to my store, then going back to the tools webpage and starting the process all over. I have cleared my browser, cookies, and used an incognito window in Chrome, and I still have the same results. What are some other recommended solutions?

Thanks for reaching out. Just to confirm, are you able to click the image resizer on the Shopify Tools page, as shown here?:

From there you'll be directed to the tool where you can upload your images for resizing.
