Why are my customers receiving an error message from Afterpay?

My customers are receiving a message from after pay stating:

“There was a problem processing your payment. The merchant may not have integrated the payment method properly.

Error ID: d5038220-6d64-92e8-a74f-f04ee5d37b75”

I cannot find any resolution for this and my payment method shows afterpay as active. What do I do?

If you're having this issue when customers try and pay via the Autopay gateway, your best bet is to contact them directly so that they can investigate further. Shopify's ability to troubleshoot payment issues with third-party gateways is limited.
