Why are my dropdown menus repeating on my desktop website?

My website (coastalfurniture.co.uk) has developed an issue where the dropdown menus on the main header menu have started repeating. When you hover over a dropdown it just shows a repetition of the main menu instead of the assigned menu. I have attached a screenshot below showing this when you hover over the 'About' menu. 

When I view it in the theme customiser it show up correctly (2nd screenshot below) so I'm not sure how to fix this, any ideas what the issue is?

This is only when viewed on a desktop. Mobile version is fine.

Hi @JamesS62 basically when the menu item is hovered the menu is calling out to fetch a copy of the header then reinsert the header|menu back into itself.

If any apps, changes or customization were recently done restore a backup of the theme and retest.

What the root cause it's incredibly hard for a casual contributor to fix as they'd walk through the theme in working condition and debug the themes javascript is minified complicating things.
