Why are order admin pages on PC not displaying correctly?

I do not like the user interface for shopify admin on PC being "tweaked".

I have lost the drop down menu for order actions now- The select box(...) just says "more actions", but does not provide any "more actions" such as Print etc.

The drop down item search box for draft orders no longer searches, or drops down.

 

This is the only way to contact shopify now, no contact for help.

Are you able to clarify the issues you are having? You should still be able to search your draft orders. Can you walk me through the steps you are taking to do this? I also took a look at your order actions and clicking the 'More actions' button you mentioned (the '...') does pull up a number of actions, including the ability to print. Would you be able to share a screenshot of what you see when you click this button? Once I have more information about what's happening on your end I can help further.

Hi, I raised this issue with the shopify help team, and was told my screen
zoom settings were the cause. Since the latest admin page update, there is
no option to increase font size on the page. So, unless you view the pages
at 100% only, you cannot use the drop down menu (...); you also cannot use
the credit card payment page, or any page with a drop down menu or box.

I have a disability, I need to wear glasses for reading.- pretty common.

Presumably, Shopify are anti disability. Maybe they actively refuse to
employ anyone with a disability. Seems a little out of step these days.
Help if you can, but Shopify were adamant that the winter '24 update was
excellent, and their customers should have perfect 20:20 vision.

I can assure you that is not the stance of Shopify. I wear glasses myself and can understand why you want to ensure you can see comfortably. Are you able to share any screenshots of the issues you're seeing? I want to make sure we do as much as we can to assist you with this. I just tested it on my end by zooming in more than 100% and I was able to use all of the settings so I would need more information about what is happening on your end to help further.

Well, this has been fixed in the last 3 minutes, well done! Still need to
fix the drop down menu on "create order- add product", and credit card
details font.
