Why are product photos disappearing after resizing on the app?

Hi, hoping someone can shed some light on this please, we're uploading product photos via the Shopify App on iPhones which has always worked fine but we've just started to get the error message below. It lets you upload the photos as normal but as soon as you resize them (as we have always done) the photos disappear from the listing and this error message comes up. And no idea what YouTube has got to do with it?? Thanks!

I’m having the same problem.  I’m surprised no one has responded with an answer to resolve this…. Im also uploading photos from my iPhone then crop photo on shopify but when I enter my website it doesn’t show the cropped photo but the original even though on shopify it shows the cropped photo.

same issue. I use api to upload about 1000 images. But sometime 1 or 2 image process failed and Shopify notify me like this. 
Really don't understand this error
