Why can't I purchase a new domain despite no special characters?

can't buy new domain becoz "Address must not contain special characters"

When you try to purchase your domain, and you're seeing the error, 'Address must not contain special characters' this indicates that there may be an issue with your store settings and not the domain name itself.

You can check for any special characters in your store's address or name by heading to 'Settings > Store details' in the admin. Please ensure that your store's name and address do not include any non-English characters. This error may also appear if your phone number is not in the appropriate format as per OpenSRS' requirements.

As well as that, the billing information you are submitting when you try to purchase the domain must also not contain any “special”/non-English characters. Make sure to update your billing information to only contain English-equivalent characters, and you can change back once the domain is purchased. 

Once you make this purchase, you will be prompted to provide your “personal ID number” or “national identity card/number” in the format YYMMDD-XXXX, with a hyphen. The postal code should be a single string of numbers with no spaces, as OpenSRS does not accept spaces in postal codes. For example, the postal code should be entered as XXXXX.

Additionally, you can also choose to enable auto-renewal for your domain if you'd like. Auto-renewal for your domain means that your domain registration will automatically renew at the end of its registration period. This means that you don't have to manually renew your domain registration each year or risk losing your domain if you forget to renew it. Finally, make sure to read the ICANN policy and the Domain Registration Agreement before clicking Buy domain. It can take up to 48 hours for your domain to start working.
