Why can't I see PayPal as a payment option at checkout?

Hello!

I been trying to conect paypal but i has been an imposible task.

I have read many instructions but nothing works

I alrready did the following:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Payments.

1. In the Supported payment methods section, find PayPal.

2. Click Manage.

3. Click Deactivate.

4. Click Deactivate again to confirm.

5. Click Activate.

• Mi PayPal account is a business account
• emal is the same for paypal and shopify
• Country as well
•  I alrready linked my bank account

after all, I am not able to see paypal on payment options at the check out...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PayPal requires you to have USD as your store base currency. Is your store base currency USD?

No is not, is in COP currency. Nevertheless, i tryed to change it but it says that I need to have shopyfy markets, wich I am not able to have it because the shop is based in colombia.

it is really posible to have paypal for ecomerces based in my country?

Is so frustating when you follow all the shopify instructions, but many many times they are not enough, many times they dont work because is something missing!

Understood. The same is in UAE. We can't use Shopify payments. We don't use PayPal also as our currency is AED. We just have to live with it.
