Why can't I see the customize and theme buttons on my online store?

So first off I wanted to customize my store so I went to sales channel and then online store, but the customize and theme buttons weren't there. They used to be there but now they don't appear. I don't know if its because I signed up to the basic plan or what. Someone please help me know how to make them appear again.

If you're on the Basic Shopify Plan, you should be able to access the Themes page and customize your theme as this plan includes an online store. Since you're unable to do this, can you please double-check that you're on the Basic plan? You can head over to Settings > Plan > Plan details in your admin to find the plan you're currently on.

The only subscription plan where an online store isn't available is the Shopify Starter Plan, as this one is designed for merchants who are starting out and want to sell to their customers through social media platforms or messaging apps. If you're on this plan and want to upgrade to the Basic plan or higher, you can follow the steps in this guide.
