Why can't I transfer my .co.uk domain to another website?

Hi 

I’m trying to connect one of my domains to another website that I currently have. Both are .co.uk domains but I’m seeing an error every time I follow these steps? The error states .co.uk domains  are currently not supported? 

I basically want to delete one of my other Shopify stores but keep the domain and have all the traffic go to my other Shopify store.

I followed the below steps. 

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Domains.

2. Click Manage to open the settings for the domain that you want to transfer.

3. Click Transfer domain.

4. Click Transfer to another Shopify store.

5. Confirm that your registrar information and your associated email address are up to date, then click Send transfer link. You'll receive an email that contains a transfer link.
