Why can't some customers see typography and numbers on our new webshop?

Hi!

We just started with our new webshop. thanks for shopify community!

Everything works fine, but some of our customers complain, that they don't see any typography and numbers in our webshop. Just pictures. They don't see Header, footer and product details. 

Most of them are using old version of Microsoft windows ( windows 7 and windows 8.1.) on pc.

For example, laptop, windows 7 enterprise 6.1 (build 7601:servicepack 1, ) browser: firefox 76.0.1 32bit (theoraticaly most fresh, up to date)

I'am using debut theme, typography headings and buttons Rubik light, Body text: Rubik light

Could You help to fix this?

Same problem here.

The "Rubik" font that Shopify seems to provide does not work on Win 7 - no matter the browser.

If you use Edge, IE11, Chrome oder Firefox - when selecting "Rubik" (using it from https://fonts.shopifycdn.com) - all text will be invisible.

While Rubik from google fonts works perfectly fine on Win7 (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Rubik?query=rubik) the "hosted version" by shopify seems to be the culprit (for reasons I dont't understand...)

So, looks like shopify should correct the font file they host (??) or something

Nope... as this is related to the font itself (https://github.com/google/fonts/issues/1137) we moved away from Rubik

Many Shopify users encountered a similar problem, where a client didn’t see all the products available or all the options on the page. I assume that Shopify works better on newer operating systems, but you don’t have any control over what os are your clients using. You can check if all the correct links appear in the Navigation option when editing the menu from your page. Also, you can check the collections and the online store to see if the products will appear. That’s why I prefer using Windows 10, especially after finding a cheap windows key. I have more features available on different apps.
