Why did my new Shopify store get deactivated after adding a card?

So I am new to Shopify and I created a website after I created it I went to buy a domain once I added my card it inactivated my store. Idk what happened or what mistake I made

With regards to your inquiry, I recommend the following steps to try to resolve this matter: 

 

  • please try to do some local troubleshooting steps such as: clear cache and cookies, try a different browser/interaciton connection, try going into private mode or incognito mode to see if these steps make a difference on your end.
  • please look through your email for any direct correspondence from us explaning as to why your account is currently inactive. 
  • if the issue persists, please reach out to our live support team as they are the ones who can open up back end information and dig deeper into this situation.

Hello Jay, I think the best course of action you could take is to reach out to the Shopify support team. A friend of mine had a similar issue and was able to resolve it through doing that.
