Why do deleted items keep reappearing in my online store?

Hi, I'm in the process of cleaning up our store and deleting old items and they just keep reappearing. After logging out then back in they are active again.

Is there perhaps an active app on the store you're working on, that is controlling the store's products? If so, there might be a setting within the app that's preventing the products from being fully deleted from the store.

 

If you've checked that there are no apps controlling the store's products however, you can go through the steps below to further troubleshoot this situation:

 

  • Try to access the store via an incognito window and to delete the products from there.
  • Or, you can use your usual browser but to clear the browser's cookies and cache before attempting to re-delete the products.
  • You can also try another browser. For example, if you're using Safari, you can try deleting the products via Chrome or Firefox.
  • You can also try to use another device, such as your mobile or a tablet.
